Having way too much fun!! I seriously need to live at the beach! Every time I go I feel so at home.. so do my kids! They loved it, but not as much as they loved getting their pics taken there:)… NOT! We went on a vegas/california trip and it was heaven! I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun at Disneyland in my life! It is so much fun watching your kids have the time of their life. Needless to say, it was a much needed vacation… I’m not sure I’m ready to be back. In fact I know I’m not! All I’ve done today is edit, laundry and argue with Jackson about wearing his football pants all day long! (I finally gave up and let him wear skin tight biker looking shorts with pads on the thighs all over the neighborhood). Whatever!! Anyway, I have a billion posts coming but here is a tiny peek at our trip… I have so many more of the beach and disneyland but I don’t want to bore you with my personal snapshots:)!Share on Facebook
I’m not going to lie… the last few weeks have totally sucked! I know… great choice of words but that is how I feel so whatever! It all started with Addie waking up to throwing up one morning. I thought it might have to do with the fact that she just started drinking real milk… I was wrong!! She was sick… really really sick. Poor baby! There is nothing worse than having a sick baby! You just feel so helpless! She was so dehydrated we almost had to hospitalize her. I did the Tablespoon of water every fifteen minutes for days. If she kept that down for 8 hours I could start the BRAT diet and every time she had one bite, within minutes we would start all over for another 8 hours. NOT fun! The 2nd day of Addie being sick Max got a fever and just wasn’t acting his crazy self. I took him into the doc thinking it had something to do with the flu.. except he had been complaining about his throat. Well, he had strep! Two days later Dan had the flu, a couple more days I got it meanwhile poor Addie was still miserable! After what seemed like 1000 days of being cooped up in the house I took the boys swimming. On the way home Max threw up all over the car… everywhere! I thought I was going to die!!! Jax miraculously stayed healthy. We are all healthy and happy now. Just in time for my baby girls birthday! It was so much fun! I took lots of pics but haven’t had two seconds to look at them. I am behind on editing and I feel so guilty doing anything for myself before I finish other people’s sessions. I’ve been shooting like crazy including a wedding, couple newborns, few families, kids, pretty much everything, so stay tuned!
Here is cute little Kendall… she was a doll! So cooperative! Her big brother was great too! He has a skate board/snowboard theme room… I think this pic will be so sweet hanging on his wall!!Share on Facebook
These three are cousins that were born just days apart! Aren’t they adorable! The middle one is my best friend’s little girl Scarlett. She reminds me so much of her mamma! I’m so happy we have remained good friends even though Lindsey’s husband is a rock star b-ball player and takes her and their kids to some foreign land every year for what seems like forever:)! She is just one of those friends that I could not talk to for years and then we get together for a cookie and a diet coke and it’s like no time has past at all!
The other day we went to a boutique with our kids. We were all in one car with Lindsey and I in the front and all of the kids and their car seats in the back two rows. We looked back and just cracked up! How fast things change!!! Linds reminded me of something my mom once told us. We were off to our senior trip to Hawaii and she said, “Enjoy this time in your lives because it will never be the same again!” We didn’t think much of it at the time but now we know exactly what she was talking about. No more going to the beach all day and basking in the sun getting the best tans ever! It’s crazy how fast life changes. You could say the same thing now about enjoying our little kids now because it will never be like this again. I guess what I’m trying to say is how important it is to live in the moment. I am learning this more and more as I get older.
This is just a tiny peek but I had to get some up here before Linds left on a trip for a week… pretty sure she’d kill me if I didn’t! More to come… I promise! To the moms of the other two little angels… I will try and post more in the next couple of days so keep checking back:).Share on Facebook
Isn’t she gorgeous! It was so much fun shooting bridals for a change… even with the freaking tornado winds!! There are tons more but I’m editing my head off trying to get these done on time so I’ll have to post more later! Sooo excited for Jess and Dallin… these guys are so cute together!Share on Facebook
